I didn’t always plan on going into this line of work…

I did so after my ex-partner Jack was involved in a bike accident that rendered him comatose.

When he awoke from his coma, he was unable to speak, and I really struggled with the knowing that he was unable to put into words what he had to say... that he couldn’t extract his thoughts and feelings from his head and heart, and express them to others. 

I pursued a PhD to learn all there was to know about the mind and brain, language and how they’re connected (psycho- and neuro-linguistics), but after 10 years at Uni studying and teaching I realised that my knowledge and my expertise had messaging applications.

Among my many clients, I’ve seen two types of messaging problem: 
issues with extraction and issues with expression.

Extraction

People with extraction issues don’t know what to say. They don’t or can’t clearly communicate to their ideal client who they are or how they can help them. They also don’t or can’t properly explain the problem their ideal client is struggling with or how their product or service solves it.

Expression

People with expression issues often know what to say, but aren’t willing or able to say it. They don’t know their tone of voice (what specific words or phrases to use) or lack the confidence to position themselves as an authority in their space and present  their offers as the solution to their ideal clients’ problems.

What you'll learn...

PART 1: EXTRACTION

To kick things off, we will work to get a background on you and your business. In it, we will map out the ways in which you serve your current clients, through each and every one of your existing offers.

Then we'll jump into your key competencies and your business's USPs. Business gurus teach us to find a problem, and create a solution for it, but that can make for impostor syndrome if you aren't adequately educated and/or experienced in the things you're teaching and coaching people on. In this call, we'll dig deep to discover where your unique knowledge and expertise lies, and how you can help people using it.

After that, it feels authentic and in integrity to move onto the transformation you create for your clients. We will get clarity around your ideal client avatar, and what issues they're trying to resolve personally and/or professionally, so that you can make sure you're speaking to a specific person about the particular obstacles they're trying to overcome.

PART 2: EXPRESSION

People don't buy products and services - they buy solutions to problems. In this call, we'll explore the pain your ideal client avatar is experiencing, and the pleasure they're hoping and dreaming of. We'll get into the head and heart of your ideal client avatar so your message is mentally and emotionally informed. This can be considered an art. 

Then we will make the move from art to craft. Now you're expressing what you've extracted, you need to ensure your tone of voice is on brand - that your sound is as recognisable as your look. Here we'll look at the words and phrases that set you apart and make you stand out from the crowd, as well as the way you do and don't say things so that everyone who's writing your copy has a set of guidelines to follow.

Finally, we will close any open loops you have, and discuss your next steps for marketing your message. Consider this your opportunity to have your burning business questions answered by yours truly, a Doctor of Linguistics who specialises in extraction and expression, and works with 6 and 7 figure educators and coaches worldwide.
